Steady income does not come from taking every job. It comes from understanding what a job actually costs you in time, energy, revisions, and follow-up.

This course is not financial or tax advice. It is practical judgment. If a job takes four hours, includes multiple revisions, and requires back-and-forth messages for days, the price has to reflect that. Otherwise you can feel “booked” while still earning very little.

That is why experienced workers stop thinking only in terms of “Can I get work?” and start asking:

• How long will this really take?
• How many changes are likely?
• Will this client probably return?
• Does this kind of work help me build better future work?

A quick example: one job pays $40 and creates two hours of messy follow-up. Another pays $60, is clearly scoped, and the client has hired before. The second may be the better path even if it looks only slightly bigger at first glance.

• Estimate time honestly before saying yes.
• Price or accept work based on the full load, not just the first task.
