The easiest place to start
If that feels like a lot, start with the voice assistant you may already own, like Siri or Google Assistant. Press the button and ask a question out loud. That is AI too, and a gentle way to get comfortable.
One important safety rule
AI tools are run by outside companies, so treat them like a public place, not a private diary. Never type in your Social Security number, passwords, or bank or card numbers. And remember, AI can be confidently wrong. For anything about your health, money, or legal matters, use it to understand your options, then check with a real professional.
