About Course
A smartphone is just a helpful tool, and you are allowed to learn it at your own pace. This free, plain-language course starts at the very beginning: the buttons, the taps and swipes, and how to find and open what you need. No prior experience assumed, no jargon, and nothing to buy.
It works for both iPhone and Android phones. Where the two differ, we say so simply. You will learn to move around the screen, connect to Wi-Fi, make the phone easier to see and hear, keep it safe, and handle the everyday basics like calls, camera, and maps.
Who it is for: anyone brand new to a smartphone, or anyone who has one but never felt confident with it. It is never too late.
Time: about 40 to 45 minutes (7 short lessons plus a quick quiz). Free to learn, no account required, and you can retake the quiz as many times as you like.
